About our CBD products
Where is your Hemp grown? All our small batch CBD oils, salt scrubs, body butter and soaps are derived from the hemp plants grown right here on the farm in Pleasureville, Kentucky.
How is your CBD extracted? Kephart Acres CBD oils are professionally extracted by a USDA Certified Organic Hemp Processor using a simple, preservative-free Lipid System Extraction Process that maintains 99+% of the plants’ natural purity. The process draws the fullest possible spectrum of active compounds from the hemp plant, carefully preserving their molecular structure and maximizing the co-evolutionary benefits of the entourage effect. No solvents, no chemicals, no water, just unfiltered full-spectrum, quality infused oil.
What terpenes are in your oils? Natural occurring terpenes include: Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene, and Limonene.
Is your product third-party tested? Yes, our CBD oils (and concentrates) are third-party tested by an unaffiliated, state-accredited lab using industry-approved methods to verify cannabinoid content and the absence of harmful chemicals. In general, you shouldn’t buy any CBD oil or concentrate that isn’t third-party tested. See our Lab Test.
Is your product organic? We do practice natural, organic farming and can assure you we have never used any kind of chemical pesticides, sprays, or synthetic fertilizers and have proof with lab tests. Our hemp is processed at a USDA Certified Organic Hemp Processor and we are in the process of USDA Certified Organic certification.
Can I pass a drug test after using your product? Kephart Acres CBD products are legal in 50 states and have no more than .3% THC. But, Kephart Acres can make NO guarantee that any person will be able to pass a drug test after using our products.
Is the same oil in your topicals? Our CBD Body Butter is handmade in small batches with our oil and therefore retains beneficial unfiltered, full spectrum CBD extract. According to a growing body of research, CBD has many benefits in a topical application.
What does full-spectrum mean? It means it contains the entire spectrum of active compounds found in the hemp plant. Full-spectrum CBD oil is packed with cannabinoids like CBDA, CBD, CBG, CBA, terpenes, and trace amounts of THC to maximize benefits.
What are Cannabinoids and Terpenes? The hemp plant contains more than a hundred different compounds of cannabinoids and terpenes that can interact with your endocannabinoid system. Cannabinoids and terpenoids in hemp are thought to interact with each other as well as the brain’s receptors. The endocannabinoid system works to keep your body in homeostasis, or balance. Its purposes range from neuroprotection to regulation of your immune system, impacting things like appetite, sleep, mood, and pain.
